Move into 2021 with joy…

…and presence!

A Blessing for Presence, by John O’Donohue

May you awaken to the mystery of being here and enter the quiet immensity of your own presence.
May you have joy and peace in the temple of your senses.
May you receive great encouragement when new frontiers beckon.
May you respond to the call of your gift and find the courage to follow its path.
May the flame of anger free you from falsity.
May warmth of heart keep your presence aflame and anxiety never linger about you.
May your outer dignity mirror an inner dignity of your soul.
May you take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek no attention.
May you be consoled in the secret symmetry of your soul.
May you experience each day as a sacred gift, woven around the heart of wonder.

And this was written by my son…who has these blessings in abundance!

Was 2020 really that bad??

Yes lots of really horrible stuff happened.

Whilst lots faced challenges, many of us got the chance to reconnect with people. No matter the distance, we embraced technology that allowed us to become closer.

Home became a staycation.

Monday afternoons became a Friday night (it’s always after 5 somewhere in the world!)

We experimented with new food from the leftovers of the fridge.

We took on all of those DIY jobs that we never “had time for.”

Everyone prioritised their daily exercise.

We appreciated those professions that we perhaps previously took for granted.

We appreciated everything we had.

Everyone learnt new ways to work remotely.

And so much more…

Rather than wishing death to 2020 make the most of what you learnt this year. It will serve you far better.

Happy New Year all.
Xx
